Last year we were happy to announce that Valerie Scott had been selected as Regional Vice President (RVP) for the Florida Chapters of ASIS International, Region 4C. One year later we are even more excited to announce that Val’s commitment to enhancing her region’s profile and supporting its membership has been recognized with the 2022 ASIS RVP of the Year Award.
Val has a long list of volunteerism roles at ASIS and now adds this impressive success in guiding the Florida Chapters to her portfolio. She was instrumental in reinvigorating the North Florida Chapter and most recently, has also stepped in to support the revitalization efforts of the Palm Beaches Chapter.
Key to Val’s nomination for the 2022 ASIS RVP of the Year has been her unwavering commitment to assist and support the chapters she serves. Val excels in communications between leadership and chapter members and has become a trusted advisor on relational and operational issues. She can always be depended upon to lead discussions and presentations and to offer strategies for implementation at the chapter levels.
