In the dynamic field of security services, fostering diverse and inclusive leadership is crucial for addressing complex challenges and driving innovation. Recognizing this imperative, our COO, Eddie Sorrells, recently participated in the first-ever ASIS International and the Security Industry Association joint Security LeadHER Conference in Nashville. This event brought together over 300 female security professionals to exchange insights, discuss emerging trends, and empower aspiring leaders, with a particular focus on promoting women in security.

The event served as a platform for security experts, thought leaders and practitioners to collaborate, share knowledge, and showcase innovative solutions. Programming focused on two tracks – Leadership and Security & Innovation – featuring presentations from industry-leading subject matter experts.

By engaging with fellow professionals and highlighting the importance of diversity, DSI continues to promote the creation of inclusive environments where everyone’s contributions are valued. During the conference, Eddie encouraged the security industry to embrace and amplify diverse voices, recognizing that this approach fosters innovation, enhances problem-solving capabilities, and delivers more effective security solutions.

Moreover, Sorrells’ involvement in the Security LeadHER Conference exemplified DSI’s commitment as a Woman-Owned business to continue to uplift women in the security industry.
